Cookie Policy — KG Cargo Ltd.

Last updated: 5 August 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how KG Cargo Ltd. (“we”, “us”, “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on the website http://www.kgcargo-bg.com (the “Website”). For how we process personal data more broadly, see our Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device (computer, smartphone, tablet) when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognise your device and remember certain information about your visit.

We also use similar technologies such as pixels and tags, which serve a comparable purpose. In this Policy, “cookies” refers to both.

2. What types of cookies we use

  1. Strictly necessary cookies – essential for the Website to function properly (for example security, session management, storing your cookie preferences). They cannot be switched off in our systems.
  2. Functional cookies – allow the Website to remember your preferences, such as your chosen language.
  3. Analytics (performance) cookies – help us understand how visitors use the Website – which pages are visited most and how users navigate – so that we can improve it.
  4. Marketing cookies – we do not currently use marketing cookies on the Website. If this changes, we will update this Policy and ask for your consent.

The following tools also run on the Website. At our last check they did not set cookies of their own, but they do process data about your visit (for example IP address, browser type, pages visited):

  • Google Tag Manager – does not set cookies itself, but loads the other tools.
  • Jetpack Stats (Automattic) – Website traffic statistics.
  • Ahrefs Analytics – cookie-free traffic statistics.

An up-to-date list of cookies, their providers and retention periods is also available in the consent management tool on the Website.

4. Legal basis for using cookies

For strictly necessary cookies, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure and functional Website – Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

For functional, analytics and any marketing cookies, we rely on your consent – Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with the Bulgarian Electronic Communications Act. You can give or withdraw your consent at any time, as described below. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.

5. How you can manage cookies

  1. Through the consent tool on the Website – on your first visit you can accept or reject the individual cookie categories. You can change your choice at any time from the cookie settings on the Website.
  2. Through your browser settings – most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. How to do this depends on the browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) – please check its help section.
  3. Through Google’s own tool – you can opt out of Google Analytics using the official browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Please note that blocking some types of cookies may affect your experience on the Website and that some features may not work properly.

6. Third-party cookies

Some of the cookies and technologies on the Website are placed by third parties, who use them in accordance with their own privacy and cookie policies:

Some of these providers may transfer data outside the EU/EEA. See section 5 of our Privacy Policy for details.

7. Changes to this Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example if we change the cookies we use or if legal requirements change. The latest version is always available on this page and shows the “Last updated” date.

If you have any questions about our use of cookies, write to us at sales@kgcargo-bg.com.
